No more "I know"'s

Me: You still need to do your homework!

My kids: I know!

Me: You still haven't brushed your teeth!

My kids: I know!

Me: You have 5 more minutes and I want the I-pad off!

My kids: I know!

This is the usual discourse in my house repeated about 100 times a day. BUT, the other day it sounded more like this:

One of my children: Haven't you been writing that book for like 3 years?

Me: I know!

So, I made a new rule in our house:

NO MORE "I KNOW"'S

We are now an:

 I AM!
