NaNo Rule #26: Free Flow Writing Counts!
Why?
It progresses your story line and to be frank, sometimes a documented argument with yourself about what should happen when and why brings you through the rut and into a breakthrough.
I kept my free flow writing (about 230 words) in my word count also because I'm sure as I go back and re-read this draft I'll either be thinking a similar thing, or reading my thoughts will give me a new and better idea for how to solve this little issue.
DAILY WORD COUNT: 1,577
TOTAL WORD COUNT: 43,347
